Patrick Boateng Acheampong - Promoter & Chief Executive Officer
Patrick is an entrepreneur and the founder of RisingSun Montessori School. He has been managing the school in the last fourteen years. Patrick has over twenty five years’ experience in senior management positions in multinational business entities. He worked as Head of Finance Shared Service Centre, Africa for Standard Chartered Bank, Finance Director for Barclays Bank, Ghana, Financial Controller for Fidelity Bank, Ghana and Management Accountant, Unilever Ghana Limited. Patrick holds an MBA Finance and BSc Accounting from the University of Ghana Business School. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.

Jonathan Atandzi- AG. Head of School, Dome
Mr. Jonathan Atandzi, is a seasoned education professional who currently serves as the Head of School at the Dome branch of RisingSun Montessori School. With a strong educational foundation, he possesses a diploma in Social Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with Psychology from the University of Ghana Legon, and a Master of Logistics Engineering degree from Zhejiang Wanli University, Ningbo China. Among various achievements under his belt, Mr. Atandzi has headed the Foreign Languages Department of Insist Genius Educational Complex, China, where he led the team, overseeing curriculum development and ensuring students gained a strong foundation in English.
He also played a pivotal role in expanding the institution’s reach by establishing two additional branches, contributing to its growth and impact.
Bringing a wealth of experience to the field of education, Mr. Atandzi has seamlessly transitioned from classroom teaching and mentoring to a managerial role. He is a staunch advocate for a student-centered approach to learning and teaching. His leadership is evident in the implementation of effective communication strategies and targeted training, aimed at improving the performance of students, especially those facing academic challenges. Mr. Atandzi’s unwavering dedication to creating a positive learning environment reflects his commitment to the growth and success of both students and the school community.

Emenefa Agbosu - Principal/Director Of Curriculum
Emenefa Acheampong is the Principal/Director of Curriculum. Prior to working as Principal, she was the Head of School for the Bortianor School campus since inception in 2007. She has over twenty years’ experience in school management. She has taught in both private and public schools in Ghana including the Dzorwulu Special Needs School. She holds an MPhil. and B.Ed. in Special Needs Education both from the University of Education, Wineaba.

Jennifer Acheampong- Governance, Risk And Compliance Manager
Accomplished and forward-thinking professional with a distinguished four-and-half-year track record in optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring quality assurance, managing risks, and shaping policies across diverse sectors, notably education and hospitality. Miss Acheampong graduated with First Class Honours in Business Administration from Ashesi University, showcasing an unwavering commitment to academic excellence. Currently pursuing an MBA in International Business, she consistently exhibits adept leadership and collaborative prowess, delivering impactful results in a timely manner.
As the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager at RisingSun Montessori Schools, she demonstrates a sharp ability to assess and enhance operational processes, enforce policies, and mitigate risks, resulting in a remarkable 15% improvement in productivity by addressing 65% of operational challenges. Notable achievements include spearheading the development of RisingSun Montessori School's website, leading a comprehensive review and documentation of policies and procedures, and co-founding a Quality Assurance Team to foster enhanced client communication and policy formulation.
Previous roles encompass Customer Service and Quality Assurance Manager at Jenny’s Restaurant, where she orchestrated a 9% increase in customer volume, and valuable experiences in the Audit Department of KPMG Ghana, as well as the marketing and customer service departments of Cal Bank Ghana plc and Dalex Finance and Leasing Company respectively. Also, having engaged in impactful voluntary work at Ashesi University, including serving as the President of the Ashesi University Chapter of Friends of the United Nations Refugee Agency, she reflects her commitment to excellence and positive change in diverse organizational settings.

Peggy Wiafe- Head Of Academics, Bortianor
Peggy Wiafe is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with a background in Accounting, Customer service, Finance and Administration, and Education Management.
She currently serves as the Head of Academics for RisingSun Montessori Schools Ltd, leading curriculum planning, ensuring close monitoring of staff and students' performances, reviewing examination questions and exam coordination. Previously the Head of School at SDA Nursery and Prep. Dansoman, Ms. Wiafe Introduced phonetics from Pre-school to Lower primary, as well as the Pathfinder Club and writing of external examination. She also worked as Branch Manager at PC Oteng Ltd, Teacher at Sethdel School Complex and Brighter Vision School respectively.
Ms. Wiafe holds a Bsc in Administration, Accounting from Kings University College, HND Accounting from Accra Technical University with technical proficiency in Windows - MS Office, Odoo Accounting Software and Smartsapp. She has a proven track records in making recommendations and implementing effective strategies that fosters academic excellence. Under her academic leadership in RisingSun Montessori School, Bortianor branch has benefited from her introduction of News Casting, writing external examination, and recommendation and implementation of the year ahead program.

Samuel Nortei-Adu - General Manager, Finance
Samuel Nortei-Adu is the General Manager, Finance. He has been with RisingSun Montessori Schools Ltd since 2014, first as Finance Manager prior to moving into his current role. He has been instrumental in establishing the Finance department of the school. He previously worked at Vodafone Ghana as Assistant Finance Manager and Principal Finance Officer from 2003 to 2012. Samuel holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School and a BSc. Operation and Projection Management GIMPA. He is currently preparing for the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.

Cletus Sungdong- Head Of Curriculum
Cletus Sungdong is an accomplished education professional committed to shaping the future of learning. Holding a BA in Social Studies Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and currently pursuing an MPhil in Curriculum and Pedagogy at UCC, Cletus brings a wealth of academic expertise to RisingSun Montessori Schools Ltd. Cletus's journey in education spans various roles, from teaching Social Studies at the Basic and Senior High School levels to contributing as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Education Winneba. His diverse experiences include serving as a Policy Associate with Africa Education Watch and leading as the Head of School for RisingSun Montessori School Dome.
In his current role as the Head of Curriculum, Cletus actively works on harmonizing curriculum implementation, teaching, and assessment across all three branches of RisingSun Montessori School Limited. His dedication fosters a cohesive and enriching educational environment.
Mr. Sungdong's diverse experiences and passion for education make him a valuable asset to the academic community, contributing significantly to the ongoing evolution of the educational institution.

Henry Sackey- Head Of School, Bortianor
Mr. Henry Owusu Sackey is a young man with a vast level of experience in both the corporate and educational sectors. He has worked in the capacity of a Customer Service Representative, and a Facilitator in notable institutions like MTN Ghana and Adventure Bay International School, during the past nineteen years.
Mr. Sackey holds a diploma in Laboratory Technology ( Industrial Laboratory option) from the Accra Technical University and currently pursuing a Degree in Mathematics with the University of Education, Winneba. He is currently the Head of School at the RisingSun Montessori Schools Limited, Bortianor Campus.

Abigail Baffour-Awuah- People, Culture & Transformation Manager
A knowledgeable HR practitioner and training specialist with over a decade of experience in cultivating environments that prioritize employee development and professionalism. Currently serving as the People, Culture, and Transformation Manager at RisingSun Montessori Schools, Ltd., Ms. Baffour-Awuah excels in identifying organizational cultural prerequisites and implementing effective training programs that elevate and sustain the quality of the brand and maintain brand loyalty across the three branches. Abigail Baffour-Awuah plays an essential role in collaborating closely with executive management to craft policies and operating procedures that serve as the guiding principles for the institution's culture.
Ms. Baffour-Awuah in her previous role as the Training, Administrative & HR Officer at the Business Resource Centre, Ministry of Trade and Industry, demonstrated expertise in business diagnostics, training program development, and SME training.
As the founder and Training Consultant at Abby’s Wand Ltd, Abigail has provided impactful training for and on behalf of organizations such as Access Bank, Ama Duncan Consulting, and Bacnof Schools.
Her enthusiasm for professionalism, impeccable customer service, and proficiency in communication skills stem from her 6 years of career advancement with Lancaster Kumasi City (Golden Tulip Kumasi City) where she enrolled in a 12-month Management Trainee program and assumed a supervisory position within a span of 18 months with the industry.
With a background in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Ghana, she combines academic knowledge with practical skills in business administration which underscores her dedication to organizational success.

Roland Akoetey- Head Of School, Lashibi
Roland is currently pursuing MPhil in Sociology of Education at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. As a dedicated, enthusiastic, organized, and reliable individual, he possesses good interpersonal and Analytical skills, he is an excellent team player, and is open to acquiring and developing new skills.
He often embraces challenging responsibilities within a wide range of employment areas. He is endowed with an active dynamic approach to accomplishing tasks and achieving desired results. As part of his achievements, Roland served on VALCO Trust Graduate Hall board as a student representative.
Roland is currently heading the Lashibi campus of the RisingSun Montessori Schools Ltd, Accra. As part his responsibilities, Roland oversees the day-to-day operation of the school, Creates and implements strategic plans for the school. Additionally, he undertakes periodic Evaluation of staff performance. Nevertheless, he is committed to fostering cordial relationship with parents, students, and other stakeholders, whiles creating a serene atmosphere for teaching and learning.
Roland served as vice principal at the of College of Advanced Business and Technology school situated in Mafi-Kumase in the Volta region, where he was responsible for the educational progress and achievements of the school, students, and staff at large, and management of school finances, and resources.
